There is good news for lakhs of farmers related to the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The date of 16th installment of PM Kisan Yojana has been released.

The 16th installment of the scheme will be released to the farmers this month. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer Rs 2000 to the accounts of lakhs of farmers under the PM-Kisan scheme by the end of this month. For your information, let us know that the date of the next installment has been released on the official website of PM Kisan. 

According to the official website, the money of PM Kisan Yojana will be released in the account of farmers on February 28, 2024.

Which farmers will not get the money from the scheme

It is not that the installment of the scheme will come in the account of all the farmers. The money will come in the account of only those farmers who will get the e-KYC done. 

In fact, getting e-KYC done is very important for the PM Kisan Yojana. If a farmer does not get e-KYC done, then he will not get the benefit of the scheme. In such a situation, farmers who have not got e-KYC done this time, will not be transferred to the 16th installment. 

Let us tell you that the process of e-KYC is very easy. The government has made the process of processing keeping in mind the farmers, so that the farmers can easily do their e-KYC.

How to do e-KYC to take advantage of the scheme?

Farmers can easily do OTP-based e-KYC by visiting the PM Kisan Portal. Apart from this, farmers have also been given the option of biometric-based e-KYC.

The central government provides financial assistance of 6 thousand rupees 

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been started by the central government to provide financial assistance to the farmers. Under this scheme, farmers are given 6 thousand rupees annually. 

This amount is provided in installments of Rs 2-2 thousand, which is sent directly to the farmers' account every four months.
