Let's learn how IARI-Pusa is providing farmers double the price then MSP?

Farmers , today we have brought good news for you. Now you must be thinking what is good news for you. So if someone tells you that your crop can get one and a half times more than MSP, then it will be very happy news for the farmers. Yes, of course you must be feeling very strange to hear this. Now you must be thinking that when the government has fixed the MSP, then how can you get more price? If it is said that the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI-Pusa) is helping farmers, then you will be even more surprised. But this is absolutely true. Thousands of farmers are getting one and a half times or even higher from the MSP with the help of Pusa.

How is IARI helping farmers

Dr. Gyanendra Singh, Principal scientist of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and in -charge of the Seed Production Unit, says that "IARI is helping farmers to increase yield and income.” This effort has been done in this episode. He said that IARI does not have enough land, that they can provide high quality seeds to all farmers and increase the yield . For this, they are preparing seeds in the fields of farmers. This effort of IARI is helpful in increasing both the income and yield of farmers. Researchers have made it  clear that the yield can be increased by 30 to 40 percent from the seeds of the advanced type.

Farmers will have to go through this process to get double the price from MSP

Dr. Gyanendra Singh says, "First of all scientists see which species of crop is good and which areas will be the best for its seeds. Where they can produce seeds of the highest quality. Scientists do research on this. After this, they contact the farmers there. It contains many grounds for selection of farmers. The cost is spent by the farmer to prepare the seeds. But the guide i.e. directions is done by IARI Scientists . In this process, farmers living within the scope of 100-120 km of IARI Center are selected, so that they do not have to spend more to deliver the seeds in the centre after getting ready. Many farmers together Can be involved, which will make it feel less time to deliver their seeds. "

The crop prepared by the farmers will be paid

The farmer takes his crop to the IARI centre after being ready. The farmer is paid according to the MSP at the same time. After this, scientists investigate it, in which an average of 8 percent of the goods do not come in line with the quality. For this, the farmer and buyer are called to the centre, which sells these goods. Since, IARI prepares it as seeds. Due to this, there is a difference of about one and a half times or more in crop and seed price according to MSP. The IARI pays the money to the farmer. In this way the farmer gets more than one and a half times the cost.
