The majority of agricultural workers in India are enthusiastic about it however, due to a lack of technical understanding, they are unable to practise it .To generate profit from sandalwood trees one has to wait for almost 10-15 years.In this aspect,the Central Soil and Salinity Research Institute has launched an endeavour to grow high-quality sandalwood plants. Scientists are currently doing study on this topic in order to help farmers maximise their profits from sandalwood growing in a short period of time. For your knowledge, sandalwood is utilised in a variety of auspicious tasks, including worship. As a result, both the demand and price of sandalwood rise dramatically in the market.

Research ongoing for Sandalwood Trees by Scientists

Scientists at the Central Soil and Salinity Research Institute (CSSRI) in Karnal are developing healthier and higher-quality sandalwood plants to help farmers earn more money. In this respect, agricultural scientist Dr. Raj Kumar stated that the project work on sandalwood trees is being carried out under the leadership of the institute's director, Dr. RK Yadav. Sandalwood plant research continues to this day. He claims that farmers must wait 10-15 years to reap benefits from sandalwood trees. Scientists undertook this initiative to shorten the long wait.Along with this, study is being done on essential issues such as which host plant should be kept near the sandalwood tree, how much fertiliser, how much water should be supplied, and so on, in order to shorten the time gap required to reap the advantages of sandalwood trees. According to information obtained, experts have planted sandalwood seedlings on one acre of ground at the institute.

Animals suffering from infertility should be expelled with a herd

Generally, infertility is seen in young animals up to 2-3 percent and in adult animals 5 to 6 percent, which should be removed from the herd. So that the milk production level cannot decline and there is no side effects on the income from them. Also, the expenses incurred in fodder, grain and care on these animals can be saved.

Animals must be vaccinated to protect them from these diseases.

Provide enough diet to animals

Also, sufficient green fodder has also been found in it, it has got suicide and it is going to provide satisfaction. Animals should usually give food 3 times on a short time of time. Animals should be mixed with green fodder like wheat straw, straw etc. By resourceing fodder and grain, the use of animal feed can also be increased by grinding grain, cutting and soaking etc. As far as possible, animals should be given separately as per the requirement and given separately. What to do to prevent plant diseases

For the last several months, the ready crop has cost a lot and the hard work of the farmers . Now in such a situation, farmers are very worried about their crops . To save the crop, it is most necessary to monitor the cultivation daily. If any disease is seen in the leaf of the plant, immediately uproot it and bury it inside the ground. If more diseases are noticed, consult a specialist immediately and for precaution, spray a fungicide Carbendazim Manacuzeb or Metalaxyl And can also spray mancozeb.

An interim budget will be presented in the Parliament by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on 1 February 2024. It is believed that farmers can get a big gift from this budget. Due to the Lok Sabha elections this year, the full budget will be presented after the formation of the new government. Earlier, during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the interim budget was presented in 2019. Piyush Goyal, who took over the additional duties of the then Finance Minister Arun Jaitley due to his ill health, had presented the interim budget, along with many major announcements that were also made by the Parliament in the 2019 budget.

The amount of PM Kisan Yojana may increase

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was announced in the interim budget of 2019. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 6000 will be provided annually in three installments to farmers having land up to 2 hectares. More than 12 crore small and marginal farmers were included in this scheme. This amount will be increased to Rs 9000 per year in the budget to be presented in February 2024. It is expected that in the upcoming budget, the installments of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi can be increased, which is no less than a big blessing for the farmers.
