A grand two-day farmers and animal husbandry fair was organised at Punjab Agricultural University. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reached here and gave awards to the people who promoted the agriculture sector.

During this, Chief Minister Mann stated that PAU, which is the pride of Punjab agriculture and dear to the hearts of Punjabis, has provided guidance to the farm sector. Farmers attended the exhibition to learn about a variety of innovative technology.

CM Bhagwant Mann stated at the time that when I arrived, I was pleased to observe on the canal route that Punjabi youngsters were clutching sacks of seeds and heading out to farm. He stated that farming practices have altered. Agriculture has progressed thanks to scientific advances. There are now several irrigation techniques in the fields, rather than just one.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann says Punjab is the largest producer of Basmati rice in India.

CM Bhagwant Mann stated during the programme that the Punjab government has pushed farmers to grow Basmati rice. Punjab is India's leading producer of basmati. We learned about the Basmati standards used elsewhere. Pesticides that have been prohibited for Basmati in other countries. Ten of these sprays were prohibited by our government. So Basmati is bought as much as possible.

The bugle of agricultural fair has been rung at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University from 17th to 19th October. The three-day All India Farmers Fair will be organized as Krishi Kumbh. In the fair, every problem of the farmers will be solved and new information will be provided. The main attraction center of the fair will be the animal exhibition. All preparations for the agricultural fair to be held on 17, 18 and 19 October have been completed. Animal exhibition is the main attraction. The Vice Chancellor of the University says that every possible effort will be made to make the fair memorable. Animal exhibition will be the main attraction in the fair. Farmers from many states including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan will reach the exhibition with their animals.


Experts will give information to farmers

Farmer seminars will be organized every day in the fair, in which agricultural scientists will give information about new research to the farmers. Agricultural experts will give information about crop diseases and their treatment. Farmers will be told how to manage crops in adverse weather so that production is not affected. You will be happy to know that All India Farmers Fair and Agro Industry Exhibition will be organized in the main campus of the University from 17-19 October 2023.

Main attraction and place of the fair

Many programs will be organized in the fair, animal exhibition, live demonstration of drones, cultural programs for entertainment, fair closing and prize distribution ceremony, agricultural industry exhibition, cultural programs for entertainment etc. All India Farmers Fair and Agro Industry Exhibition will be organized in the main campus of the university. Which is situated in Sivaya Modipuram on Delhi-Dehradun National Highway No. 58, about 56 km from Delhi and about 10 km from Meerut city.
