According to the official release, Amit Shah will oversee the computerization of ARDB and RCS throughout the states and union territories. The programme is being organised by the Ministry of Cooperation with the assistance of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). The Ministry has made a crucial step by computerising the offices of Agriculture and Rural Development Banks (ARDBs) and Registrars of Cooperative Societies (RCSs) in states and union territories.

The Ministry of Cooperation is organising this programme in partnership with the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). The project would completely computerise the offices of Agriculture and Rural Development Banks (ARDBs) and Registrars of Cooperative Societies (RCSs) in States/Union Territories, which is a key step made by the Ministry of Cooperation. According to the statement, this initiative would modernise the cooperative sector while increasing efficiency, where the entire cooperative system will be placed onto a single digital platform.

ARDB to continue computerising 1851 units

According to the announcement, 1,851 ARDB units throughout 13 states and territories would be computerised. These will be linked to the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). This means that regularly used software will be based on a single national software. This programme will improve operational efficiency, accountability, and transparency at ARDB by standardising business processes using the Common Accounting System (CAS) and Management Information System (MIS). The strategy will let small and marginal farmers to benefit from ARDB acreage and related services via Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS).

Farmers can get loan up to 2 crore rupees under Krishi Avasanrachana Yojana

If you are a farmer and are thinking of starting a small business then you can avail the benefits of the agriculture infrastructure fund scheme by the government. Under this scheme farmers will be given loans up to Rs 2 crore. There are multiple schemes run by the government in India for the upliftment of farmers. The purpose of all these schemes is the upliftment of farmers and providing them financial aid so that farmers can change their lives. Under this initiative the Central Government has started the agriculture infrastructure fund scheme. Under this scheme farmers can get loans up to rupees 2 crores for setting up cold storage,  processing units, warehouses and packaging machines. Government also provide guarantee to loan seeking farmers.

Krishi Avasanrachana Yojana

Krishi AvasanrachanaYojana helps provide loans to farmers. The interest on the loans is 3% less. This concession last for 7 years. Under this scheme a loan upto rupees 2 crore the collateral will be provided by the government. And it's responsibility will be taken by Micro and Small Enterprise Fund Trust. The guarantee fees for the collateral is also paid by the government therefore farmers don't have to pay anything from their pocket. You can take the benefit of this scheme while being under any other scheme. 

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has made a big announcement during the campaigning for Telangana assembly elections. "Farmers in Telangana are in deep debt. They are not getting any help from the government. Addressing the public and especially the farmers of the state, Priyanka Gandhi said that if the Congress forms the government in Telangana by winning the assembly elections, then the farmers will get the guarantee of MSP for crops. If the Congress forms its government in Telangana, the MSP to farmers will be fixed at Rs 2,500 per quintal for paddy, Rs 4,400 for soybean, Rs 2,200 for maize, Rs 4,000 for sugarcane, Rs 6,700 for arhar and Rs 6,500 per quintal for cotton.

He also said that good days for farmers will begin once the Congress comes to power in Telangana. Along with this, the Congress General Secretary has made many other big announcements, under which women will be given the facility of gas cylinders and free bus travel for Rs 500 along with Rs 25,000 per month, while farmers will be provided financial assistance of Rs 15,000 annually. Apart from this, 200 units of free electricity, free land for construction of houses and Rs 5 lakh as well as Rs 4 thousand as monthly pension to the elderly have been announced.
